REFLECTION

Experience
My experience in this module has been great, I had fun learning about the mechanics of filmmaking and working as a group. As an enjoyer of TV and film, I was really intrigued about the production and post-production process and I am glad I got a hands-on experience of what it might be like working in the creative film industry. Though the filming process of the projects and assignments were quite challenging, I've gained the knowledge of the different shots and techniques to create a good composition.

Observations
This module consisted of a few group projects, which really helped me improve some of my collaborative skills. I was able to work alongside my classmates and we created some memories together. I've found that group effort and participation is essential in this specific field, as people work closely with one another to ensure a good final outcome.

Findings
Throughout this module, I've realized that post-production is as important as production, and sometimes our shots may not come out as expected but it can still be tweaked and improved in the editing process. This is why it is important to plan out each step beforehand, just in case there are things that fail or don't go as the proposed plan. Nonetheless, the editing process is of course much simpler than the filming, since I've learned new editing softwares, Premiere Pro and Audition.

Overall, this module has provided me the opportunity to learn new skills of both the physical aspect of filming as well as techniques in the editing process which may guide me in future projects, whether it be academically or personal.
