Exercise 1

LECTURES

- Mr Fauzi briefed us on the course module and discussed why we should learn Photoshop
- Mr Fauzi showed us collage workshops in the past and explained to us our first exercise for next week, which is making a physical collage from magazines

TUTORIAL
Mr. Fauzi told us how to set-up our e-portfolio for Digital Photography and Imaging.
He also played a demo video on next week's first assignment.

Exercise 1
We were asked to create a Pinterest board and save the design artworks that we liked and chose a top 3, explaining why we liked them.

Description: 

The first design is a collage that really spoke to me. The artist uses different pieces to display the woman’s self-portrait. To me, this design represents a broken woman who tries to piece herself back together. This piece can be relatable to people in society as well, fixing ourselves up in order to seem presentable.

I really like the color palette in this poster, it matches the theme of the movie really well. The artist also uses the elements present in the movie, like the film tape and the brain scans as well as an illustrated scene of one of the iconic moments in the movie. As a fan of the movie, this poster really captured my attention.
